Bernadette & Joshua's Wedding

It’s times like these that I love being a wedding planner the most. You get to meet couples at the beginning of their married journey, and you so dearly want them to enjoy every moment in the build-up.

Joshua was a little stressed when I first met him. Working full-time and taking on the majority of the wedding planning, I extended my hand and accompanied him on this journey.

By the time I was introduced to Bernadette at Oaks Farm Weddings a few weeks before the wedding, Joshua was calm, relaxed, and enjoying his wedding day.

The Oaks Farm gardens were budding and ready to fully burst into a blaze of flowers in time for their wedding. With The Floral Décor providing the interior flower arrangements and meadows, the venue was a scented delight.

With the couple’s families joining them at the venue and online, these precious moments were beautifully captured by Photography by Noble, with a fabulous video by Gtruly Weddings.

To the sound of Ave Maria performed by Caroline Hall on the harp, Bernadette made her way down the aisle, nervous and emotional, to her love. Once the nerves had passed, the couple had the sounds of DJ Jah and Mr Habs MC to entertain them and their guests.

As the evening turned to dusk, Ben and I returned to our hotel for rest and recuperation. It’s always good when you look back on a wedding with a feeling of satisfaction; Bernadette & Joshua’s wedding was one of them. We wish them a wonderful and loving life.
