With over a decade of experience producing high-profile events and corporate launches, I have built my career on organisation, creativity, and delivering exceptional experiences. But it was planning a family wedding that changed everything.
That journey sparked a passion that became The Wedding Society – a business dedicated to creating celebrations that are not only beautifully styled but deeply meaningful. There is something truly special about witnessing two people begin their next chapter together, surrounded by the people they love most, and I feel privileged to play a part in that story.
For me, wedding planning is about far more than logistics. It’s about creating an atmosphere where every detail reflects your personalities, your heritage, and your love story. From the scent of fresh florals and thoughtfully designed tablescapes to the anticipation before you walk down the aisle, I believe it is the smallest details that create the biggest memories.
I have a particular love for fusion weddings, where traditions, families, and cultures come together to create something entirely unique. Blending old and new, honouring family customs while embracing modern celebrations, is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. Watching two families connect and begin a new journey together is something I never tire of.
My hope for every couple I work with is simple: that you feel completely present on your wedding day. I want you to laugh, cry, dance, celebrate, and soak in every moment, knowing that every detail has been carefully managed behind the scenes. My role is to bring calm, confidence, and creativity to your planning journey, so that your wedding feels effortless, authentic, and unmistakably yours.

Ben
Ben’s career in hospitality began in the 1980s, working as a chef in local restaurants and behind the bar in pubs and hotels, where he developed a passion for exceptional food, service, and creating memorable experiences.
After university, he moved into the world of advertising, specialising in household food brands including Cadbury’s, Green & Blacks, Uncle Ben’s Rice, Dolmio and Findus. Yet his entrepreneurial spirit and love of hospitality soon drew him back to the industry he knew best.
He went on to establish a gourmet food retail business in London’s West End, growing it into three successful stores. As demand grew for catering beyond the shops, the business evolved into a thriving events company, delivering bespoke catering and bar services for corporate parties, product launches and fashion shows for brands including Virgin, Topshop, Topman and Vogue.
Today, as The Wedding Society’s Event Specialist, Ben brings decades of experience in event logistics, hospitality and problem-solving to every wedding. Working alongside China, he is the calm, hands-on presence behind the scenes anticipating challenges, coordinating suppliers, and ensuring everything runs exactly as planned.
His role is simple but invaluable: to allow couples to be completely present on their wedding day. While you celebrate with family and friends, Ben is quietly overseeing every detail, solving any issues before they arise and ensuring your carefully planned day unfolds effortlessly.
