Kimesha & Boniface’s Wedding: A Celebration of Love and Heritage

On a crisp October day, Kimesha and Boniface tied the knot in a heartfelt ceremony at St. Mary’s Church, Luton, a venue steeped in over a millennium of history. Their love story began at university, where Boniface’s Kenyan charm captivated Kimesha, forging a deep bond rooted in their shared Christian faith.

St. Mary’s Church, established in approximately 930 AD by King Athelstan, is a Grade 1 listed building and has served as a centre of worship for the local community for more than 1,000 years. As guests arrived, they were greeted by the vibrant colours of the Kenyan and Jamaican flags, a nod to the couple’s rich cultural backgrounds.

Preparations were underway as my assistant, Caithlin, and I set up bubble guns for a unique twist on the traditional confetti toss. The aisle was adorned with petals, creating an enchanting atmosphere. As the groom arrived in an elegant ivory taffeta jacket alongside his groomsmen in stylish grey suits, the excitement in the air was palpable.

The ceremony reached its emotional peak as Kimesha, radiating beauty in her satin white dress with a sparkling waistline, made her entrance with her parents. The Bridesmaids, dressed in autumnal burnt coral, walked alongside the Groomsmen, adding warmth to the occasion. Esther Ephraim’s soulful voice filled the church as Kimesha was escorted by her father down the aisle, culminating in a touching moment at the altar. After the couple exchanged vows and signed the register, they delighted their guests with a lively dance back down the aisle, a testament to their joy. Outside, family and friends formed a Guard of Honour, raising bubble guns in celebration as the couple emerged into the evening light.

Following the ceremony, guests made their way to Crescent Hall for the wedding breakfast, where the sounds of DVJ Duez filled the air. MC Jaybee announced the evening’s highlights as guests enjoyed a delectable Indian feast. The couple shared a two-tier cake from , feeding each other in a sweet moment that marked their new beginning.

As Kimesha and Boniface took to the dance floor amidst swirling dry ice for their First Dance, it became clear that this was not just a celebration of their union, but a merging of cultures and families.

With the blessing of both families, we wish the newlyweds a lifetime filled with love and happiness.
